- Co-ordinate sales and production for best results;
- Ensure advertising prices are competitive;
- Prepare sales plans and sell advertising;
- Advise on ways to improve sales;
- Ensure sales targets and staff deadlines are met;
- Run daily or weekly sales meetings;
