Location : San Jose, CA

Position : Test Engineer

Duration : Full-Time

Position Summary

Be part of a fantastic team working on cutting edge technologies in the area of authentication, authorization, AAA and SSL-VPN, both protocols and application layers.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain reference deployments of various 3rd-party products, assist developers with environment configuration and customer environment replication.

Work with developers on a reference implementations, perform functional and compatibility testing with main focus on authentication protocols and compatibility with various 3rd-party products.

Create and maintain testplans for functional and compatibility testing; execute tests, file and verify defects as needed.

Provide expertise and test various features of BIG-IP, related to authentication and authorization.

Collect, analyze and communicate the test results. The data collected during execution of the tests is analyzed and results are published to the test team.

Works in concert with the development team to help isolate bugs, improve engineering documentation and enhance product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Ability to learn fast and independently.

3+ years hands-on experience working with authentication protocols (NTLM, Kerberos) and related technologies (web access control, SSO, SAML).

Knowledge and experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Oracle Access Manager, IBM Tivoli, CA Siteminder is a plus.

Excellent analytic / trouble-shooting skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment.
