Duration: contract to permanent position

Job Description 
5+ years experience in a professional environment developing client-server applications on large and complex system applications
Extensive knowledge of .NET (C#, asp, VB)Knowledge of Visual BasicExperience with writing applications in Visual StudioExperience coding complex SQL statements for a high transactional databaseStrong debugging, coding, and analysis/design skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated affinity for seeking, evaluating, and coming up to speed on new technologiesProficiency in MS Office

Additional Skills A Plus, but not Required:
Knowledge of Team Foundation ServerFamiliarity with MQ Series messagingFamiliarity with AIX UNIXExperience with DB2 UDB databaseExperience working on both client and service applications 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This resource will be part of a team of twenty and will interface with application development and infrastructure teams in Atlanta GA as well as with business areas.  The resource will participate independently and collaboratively in the design, development, and implementation of continued enhancements to the assigned applications.  The activities include business requirements, analysis, design, development, testing and knowledge transfer to other team members.  The resource will also participate in the routine maintenance and support of those applications.  This includes resolving issues as they are reported, researching questions and making fixes/enhancements to the existing applications as well as participating in the on call rotation for the team. 

Experience, Education and Licensure:BS Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
