J2EE Applications Architect Position:

JAVA application architect to provide oversight and guidance in the ongoing development and maintenance of JAVA based applications. This position will ensure that agency projects follow the client's-IT architecture direction, standards and best practices.  This position will also work with an enterprise architecture group to ensure solutions adhere to enterprise goals and directions and will lead and support various projects that are currently being designed and developed using J2EE, and have been determined to provide a demonstrable service to the staff by improving access to information about available services, and provide an electronic means to process paper or electronic applications.  

The candidate will perform code review and standards enforcement for  JAVA based applications. They will provide support for the client's defined toolset used to support SDLC processes including the application build management and promotion processes.

Desirable Skills

 Minimum 7 years IT Experience

Experience as a technical lead or JAVA enterprise architect

Experience with JBOSS application server

Experience with Red Hat Appache

Experience with Linux OS, MQ

Experience with Portal technology

Experience with ESX Virtually Managed Servers

Experience with SVN, Maven, Nexus

Experience with TFS

Experience with Clearquest

Good communication skills
