The role of the Production Support Manager is to plan, set timelines and execute on the maintenance/enhancements needed for a particular business channel or application. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver according to client expectations and timelines. Production Support Managers must be great communicators, tactful diplomats, problem solvers and possess the ability to understand client needs and respond to rapidly changing environments.
What you’ll do:
-Work with business partners to set priorities and communicate timelines and expectations
-Work with project team members to communicate business needs, scope and identify effort and timelines
-Coordinate and drive communication, facilitate decisions and resolve issues in order to execute on set priorities and timelines
-Facilitate regular client and project team meetings
-Keep business and project team informed of changes
What you’ll need:
-Ability to communicate effectively
-Identify and assess problems and solve them with a sense of urgency
-Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze various inputs to help prioritize work
-Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
-Team and client oriented
-Has a good understanding of the business process and technical applications that he/she
supports
-Ability to motivate a team to work towards a common goal
-Preferred: knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Agile/Scrum development methodology and practices
