Our client is a manufacturer of a variety of adhesives for electronics, building materials, aerospace, etc.  They have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager/Formulator in their Southern California location.  The position is open due to succession planning - the current manager will be retiring in the next two years and they want this person to take over.  They want this person to lead the development, scale-up, and commercialization of the aerospace sealants they manufacture here.

Requirements:

- BS/MS in Chemistry or related

- Minimum 7-10 years of formulation/product development experience in adhesives (first choice is polysulfide aerospace sealants; second choice would be epoxy/polyurethane/silicone adhesives/sealants for electronics; third choice aerospace coatings)

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship - no international relocation assistance available
