Job Description

Position Title POSTPARTUM NURSE MANAGER Nursing Unit Description: Postpartum –Nursing care of women experiencing vaginal and cesarean deliveries and benign gynecological procedures. Reports to: Women’s Care Service Line Administrator Division - Women’s Care Services Responsible for 20 bed unit and approximately 50 fte’s Job Type Regular Full-time FTE Hours 80 Minimum Training and Education - Bachelor's degree in nursing with an education plan to obtain a Master's degree relevant to the healthcare environment. Master's degree in a relevant field strongly preferred. Three years of true management experience in a Postpartum Unit required. Management experience in large university/teaching hospital or large Level One Trauma Center a plus. Requires current South Carolina licensure or licensure in a compact state as a registered nurse. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.  please send resumes or cv to pamela@saveustaffing.com  indicate ach 1-29-2012
