Purpose of Role/Organizational Unit:
Portal Reporting and Messaging Lead will create and present a conceptual vision of how reporting of dealer and corporate data will be presented on both the dealer portal and corporate intranet. This resource will also need to coordinate different portal messaging requirements from different project stakeholder groups and obtain their buy-in regarding how messaging (Alerts, Emails, News, etc) will work in the new dealer portal and corporate intranet. Resource will be responsible for generating and delivering several pieces of technical documentation, diagrams, and presentations (detailed in Statement of Requirement), and facilitation of discussions and strategic direction. Resource will be accountable to Portal Replacement Program Manager and management structure of ITPO.

Functions Performed:
The following functions are the responsibility of the Portal Report and Messaging Lead. This individual may be asked to perform these functions or work together with the Portal Replacement Project team to coordinate the completion of Reporting and Messaging requirements and activities. Ultimately, responsibility for ensuring that the functions are performed rests with the Reporting and Messaging Lead.
Position Responsibilities
 Assists in creating templates, processes, and solutions
 Facilitate requirements gathering in small groups
 Analyze and summarize information presented by the participants and get outcome needed
 Gather and summarize functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy
 Capture information necessary and to know which follow-up questions need to be asked and/or answered
 Document requirements and diagrams in detailed format
 Present detailed data in presentation format back to the business
 Ability to conduct interviews with management, team leads or subject matter experts in a professional and efficient manner, via in person, telephone or email correspondence
 Ability to translate and document well defined requirements after interviews, meetings, or workshops
 Update documentation for team as needed

Skills Required:
 Candidate should have experience in multiple portal reporting and messaging technologies
 Candidate should have experience in developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale (+1000 users) enterprise wide portals that provide functions and information for a diverse set of roles and job functions.
 Experience with portals in the automotive industries is necessary..
 Candidate will be directed by the Portal Replacement Program Project Manager and Program Manager on completion of the deliverables.
 Candidate must have experience in gathering requirements directly from business teams and project stakeholders.
 Candidate must have the ability to translate and communicate conceptual requirements into a solution that addresses those requirements.
 Candidate must be comfortable presenting advanced technical concepts to senior executives clearly and effectively.

Unique Competencies:
MS VISIO and MS PowerPoint  Capable of performing tasks in dynamic/changing circumstances
Strong customer-focused individual with a passion for responding to the needs of customers
Working knowledge of the following software applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook

Educational Requirements:
 Bachelor's degree in Business or IT.
