Ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

·         Professional, positive, upbeat telephone skills

·         Effective customer service and/or inside sales experience

·         Ability to effectively use MRP database systems, software similar to Excel, and other sales reporting tools

·         Proactive and self-motivating 

·         Excellent grammar

Job Duties:

·         Work cooperatively with the outside sales force and product management to recapture lost business

·         Work directly with customers and potential customers to determine requirements and expectations in order to recommend solutions

·         Present customer proposals

·         Increase sales by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales

·         Increase sales by offering promotional items, over stocked items, new items, etc.

·         Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint

·         Contact customers to offer blanket orders when appropriate

·         Identify trends

·         Follow up on sales quotations

·         Generate sales reports

·         Assist in maintaining CRM system

·         Provide back up for Customer Service

·         Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

·         Minimum of Associates Degree preferred

·         Minimum of three (3) years experience in customer service and/or inside sales preferred

Pay is $18-22 DOE
