The position will lead the Cost Planning Activity for the Engineering Team.  Collect, compile, present and analyze all cost information that relates to projects including but not limited to piece cost, tooling cost, material cost, process cost, and engineering costs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1)collect, compile, and present all costs in a standard format

2) analyze costs and make reduction recommendations

3) Work with internal groups, production area and sales to promote cost planning activities

4) Use engineering principles to suggest cost reduction proposals in early development

5) Provide and track feasible cost planning targets for the entire development team.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years experience is required. 

Experience in working and developing people and processes, working in a cross-functional team environment is required.
