Our client who are known for being one of the largest law firms globally in terms of revenue have had tremendous success in their expansion across Asia over the past few years. This full service law firm is best known for its corporate finance practice across Asia. Because of this, they’ve been able to bring in some of the most interesting work from global MNCs including M&A, FDI, PE and JV transactions with various cross-border elements.

They are currently looking for candidates who are at a Counsel-level position looking for a view to partnership or a Partner with a good book of business looking to join a team who are used to working on a number of high-profile transactions. The right candidate will ideally be US and/or Commonwealth qualified but PRC qualifications will be considered as well. You will have to have gained some experience with a Top International Law firm and will have developed a steady book of business you can confidently bring with you. Candidates will need to have been exposed to various corporate transactions including Private Equity, M&As, FDIs, and Joint Ventures.

Candidates will need to be fluent in English and Mandarin.

Partners with a book of clients focusing on the oil, gas and mining industry would be advantageous. The client is also very open to exploring the possibility of taking on board an entire corporate team.
