Consultants are always considered, however, ACS, XEROX is looking to hire full time employees that would be willing to travel. As you know, because of ARRA, numerous full cycle implementations of various EMRs are slated to take place nationwide. HORIZON CLINICAL BUILDERS NEEDED

Must Have Skills and Experience:
- Experience as an Implementation Consultant in the Clinical information systems space
- Experience implementing and building McKesson Horizon Clinical Product Suite (prefer one or more of the following modules: Horizon Expert Orders (HEO), Horizon Order Management (HOM), Horizon Emergency Care (HEC), Horizon Expert Documentation (HED), HorizonHealth Summary (HHS), Horizon AdminRX (HARx), Horizon Physician Portal (HPP), HorizonClinical Infrastructure (HCI), and Horizon Care Organizer
Job Description: several positions available for McKesson Horizon Software Implementation Consultants. Will be responsible for application build of various McKesson Horizon products including HEO, HOM, HEC, HED, HHS, HARx, HPP, HCI, and CareOrganizer. Key responsibilities will be on-site build, implementation support, planning, testing, and go-live implementation activities for multiple applications within the Horizon Clinical Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with version McKesson Horizon 10.3 preferred.

The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Paragon suite of application functions at the client location. Responsibilities include performing initial build/configuration and providing immediate application and systems support for any combination of two or more of the following applications: CPOE, Clinical Care Station, Order Management, Emergency Department (ED) and Lab. Additionally, the analyst plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide expertise as an analyst consultant to clients. Implement McKesson products and build Paragon clinical or financial applications. Determine best practice roll-out of application.
All other duties as assigned.
Applicable Skills
Hospital clinical or financial analyst with strong functional information technology (IT) or informatics background, combining analytical and problem solving skills.
Hands-on experience implementing McKesson Paragon clinical or financial applications, ideally across multiple healthcare facilities:
Current and future state workflow/process analysis and redesign.
CPOE and clinical application build experience, such as orders, order sets, results, and dictionaries or financial applications of general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, or materials management.
System implementation expertise to include planning, design, building, testing, training, support and upgrades.
Excellent communication, organizational skills and customer service focus.
