As a result of organizational growth and increased international demand they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Geoscientist.
This role will provide the opportunity to contribute to the successes of national and international projects. Reporting to the Senior Resource Estimation Geologist you will be responsible for providing guidance in Resource Modeling to exploration projects whilst being able to work autonomously. The Project Geoscientist will all also work laterally with a number of other teams and departments. In addition to this, a key responsibility will be providing guidance and contributing to the improvement of geological resource modeling processes. You will be responsible for the following duties; execution of resource modeling for mineral resource and mineral reserve reporting, technical support and assistance to projects and operations in the areas of mineral resource estimation, meeting deadlines for resource modeling project objectives, achieve a competent interpretation by integrating the available data into an earth model using sound principles and concepts, and be accountable to the company HSE policies, procedures, and protocols.

To be successful in this role you will utilize your University Degree in Geology and hold your Professional Geoscience designation (P.Geo). Being an experienced Geologist you will have experience in Hard Rock/Base Metals and a strong Resource Modeling background with at least 3 years of Resource Estimation experience. The successful candidate must have the acquired skills to work with others to effectively integrate geologic and operations considerations into model construction. Experience treating multiple layers of data and creation of high-quality graphics for detailed geologic interpretations would be an asset. With 3 years Resource Modeling experience you will have a natural ability to work with Reserve/Resource and Geostatistical software such as Datamine, Volcan, or Surpac.
