Electrical Engineer

These positions are for a large tier one automotive supplier and are contract to direct hire within a year.

The Transmission group in Deer Park is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the team. This individual will be joining one of the group’s program teams on supporting a major US Automotive manufacturer and is expected to be motivated, self started and able to work with minimum supervision in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities: Design and develop analog/digital circuit for automotive use. Select and test new electronic components. Perform WCA, DMFEA, bench testing. Ensure design compliance to customer specification. Analyze and troubleshoot modules in the lab and if needed at customer site. Follow and apply Engineering and Quality procedures. Support the customer in all W related questions. Follow continuous improvement activities regarding supplied components, design, and manufacturing processes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: looking for 3 candidates from 3 years to 10+ years of experience in electronics design and development. Automotive Exp. a plus. Able to apply design/developments tools as required. (FMEA, 8D Methodology, etc.) Experience with schematic entry and simulation tools. Very good organizational and communication skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree a must- prefer in Electrical Engineering
