Our client, a leading Private Equity fund, is looking to strengthen it's London Deal team with a german speaking Investment Director.

This is a pivotal role within the team, as the fund has a mainly Northern European focus and the successful candidate will be the key liaison point for the Germanic deal flow.  They will have responsibilities in origination, deal valuation and structuring.  The fund is performing incredibly well, with over 40 years experience - it has over 4bn AUM and is looking to invest a further 2.5bn, using their unique investment strategy.

The successful candidate will likely have either a background in a leading strategy consultancy, an outstanding academic record from a top institution, an MBA and sometime spent outside of consultancy developing additional, transferable skill sets. Alternatively the candidate may come from a Private Equity or Venture Capital background and be looking for the next step in their career. Fluency in German is a prerequisite in both cases, as is a confident manner and a highly analytical outlook.

The funds strategy relies heavily on engaging and working with portfolio companies management teams and as such, the ability to challenge and interact with senior business leaders is a must.
