Job Description

Our Client is a Publicly Traded International Manufacturer in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, IL. They are looking to add a few Auditors to join their team after a round of promotions. Candidates should have a background in public accounting and a minimum of 1-3 years of Audit experience.

The candidate plans, supervises and performs internal audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and internal audit standards. Internal audits consist of assessing the quality of earnings, the accuracy of financial statements, quality of internal controls, assessment of the risk profile of a division and efficiency and effectiveness of operating units.

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of one to three years of financial audit experience, preferably in Public Accounting or in a large public company
  • CPA/CIA plus
  • Goal-oriented and outgoing with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of GAAP and auditing standards and internal audit standards.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Initiative and creativity to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Analytical skills to review and analyze business operations and to identify accounting and operating issues as well as opportunities for improvement
  • Leadership capability
