SHC Direct, seeks an experienced/senior ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server Developer to join our IT team in Oak Brook Terrace, IL. We are seeking someone with strong experience building and supporting dynamic Web applications with outstanding usability.
 
Duties include:

• Building and supporting new data-driven web applications, windows services and web services
• Developing, improving and maintaining content publishing tools
• Communicating and coordinating with other developers as well as QA and operations staff
• Identifying business requirements and translating those into technical requirements
• Improving our existing web sites to enhance usability
• Taking initiative to suggest improvements and projects

 
This position requires:

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Superb ASP.NET application programming skills
• Experience in writing clean and well-documented code and creating great data models and algorithms.
• Intimate knowledge of ASP.NET 3.5 and C#, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2005/8 and integration with ASP.NET
• Must have experience with T-SQL and SSIS
• Experience with OLAP and Business Intelligence tools is helpful
• Useful but optional: Development experience in Microsoft languages such Vb.Net or C++ Above all, a strong talent for problem-solving
• Experience with Entity Framework is a bonus
