Description:
As a Sr. Software Engineer on the Treasury Development Team, you will be working on a team responsible for designing, implementing, and testing features for our transaction processing solution. You will be responsible for supporting development initiatives targeted at capacity, stability and performance improvements, system and database tuning initiatives, and complex problem analysis focused in improving the transactional and reporting throughput.
Additional Requirements:
• 5-8 years experience with J2EE development
• 5-8 years experience with UML modeling
• 3-5 years experience with J2EE software design patterns
• 3-5 years experience with multi-tier software architectures
• 3-5 years experience with Web 2.0 technologies (e.g., JSP, Web Services, XML, Ajax)
• 1-3 years experience leading or mentoring a development team
• 3-5 years database development experience (Oracle preferred; JDBC preferred)
• 3-5 years experience with a recognized software development lifecycle methodology including software and requirements traceability
• 3-5 years experience with function and non-functional requirements analysis
• 3-5 years expertise in data structures, algorithms and complex systems analysis
• 3-5 years experience in high-volume, transaction-processing production systems
• 1-3 years experience in analyzing and solving complex problems
• Strong technical leadership skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge and/or experience with server, storage and network virtualization
