Robert Half Technology is searching for a Manager of Network Technology for our client here in Charlotte, NC.  The right candidate would have experience with personnel management with a demonstrated expertise in a team lead or supervisory role. Working technical knowledge of Cisco, PBX, voice mail, interactive voice services, and call management systems. Strong hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, video teleconferencing equipment, and voice/data convergence networking. Working technical knowledge of current telecommunications practices, protocols, and principles. Ability to research, prepare, and present cost estimates, budget reports, capacity forecasting, and systems upgrade recommendations. Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Highly self-motivated and directed with strong customer service orientation. Ability to work 24/7. Knowledge of telecommunication administration and call routing, Wireless Device Management, cellular and smart device management and support. Responsible for carrier management and contract negotiations for WAN, Internet, Voice and Video Strategies.

Qualifications:4-year college degree. 5 to 9 years telecommunications management experience. Experience with PBX systems. Knowledge and experience with networking TCP/IP, Protocols, Routing, Subnets, and Proven professional level telecommunications support expertise illustrated thru related work experience. Experience supporting complex traditional and IP phone system installations, upgrades, and relevant maintenance. Project leadership and excellent customer service skills. Desired Experience:Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications or related field with at least 8 to 10 years of hands on experience as a Telecom Manager or equivalent supervisory work experience. Hands on experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, Call Manager, PBX or other Voicemail systems, wireless phones, carriers and ancillary equipment. Familiar with ITIL Best Practices. Three years experience in the retail automotive industry.
