Seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator/Developer who has in-depth experience with SQL Server 2005/2008. The successful candidate will be an experienced DBA/ Developer with an enterprise background in MS SQL 2008 Server.

This position is hands-on and is responsible for the design, support, maintenance and optimization of database systems.

Responsibilities

Coding and fixing stored procedures, triggers, functions, tables, constraints, logins, roles.

Design, develop, fix and turnover into production SSIS packages, Ability to review T_SQL code to increase SQL performance and database tuning strategies on a Windows 2003 platform.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience

5+ years of MS SQL Server Administration/Developer

3+ years working with MS SQL Server in an MS Cluster environment

Proven ability to script solutions as well as a strong knowledge of the GUI administration tools to manage change control and monitoring of the systems

Significant life-cycle database administration support including database design, database development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

Strong database modeling and design skills. Database design and modeling emphasizing on performance, integrity and usability and standardization using Erwin/Embarcadero ER Studio.

Strong experience with database scripting, SQL development, unit and integration testing

Provide enterprise level DBA support in a production environment for .NET, JAVA and ColdFusion based application. Daily support, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization and tuning of SQL server Environments across enterprise

Writing Ad-Hoc reports

Team player with excellent communication skills.

Self motivated and ability to learn and research issues independently.

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
