Quality Engineer (closed)
Responsibilities
· Support the design, development, and production introduction of Automotive Electronic products in North America.
· Ensure final product production meets all agreed customer functional requirements, reliability & confidence levels through a thorough structured development & qualification process.
· Ensure project teams comply with the identified and appropriate Continental standards and procedures.
· Ensure project teams comply with the customer and TS16949 standards, processes, procedures and objectives.
· Responsible for Quality planning activities and customer interface on assigned project teams.
· Responsible for defining and achieving development quality targets, quality costs and timing.
· Support the Safe Launch Process.

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering: Mechanical or Electrical
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a Tier 1 environment
- DFMEA's
- APQP
- PFMEAS
- Must be available to travel internationally, primarily NA
- Experience with automotive electrical products such as Body Controllers, Key FOB's, Seat Controls, Hardware, Heat Controllers and Security/Communication systems
