There is a 62% market share that can be recaptured with the referral help of our primary care network. Our physicians and our patients prefer to have medical procedures cared for within our home county network. Out-migration can be stopped by having a gastroenterologist active in this community. The practice model is flexible: independent solo startup with income guarantee or as an employed physician in the Physician Network. Excellent opportunity for capturing a solid share of the market. Not only can you build a strong GI practice, but you will have support from the general surgeons for GI bleed call from the ER in return for your help in re-capturing the bread and butter general surgery that has out-migrated without a gastroenterologist in the network.
