Elecrical Engineer with 6-18 years of experience with a consulting engineering firm or architectural/engineering firm designing for the Dept. of Defense, Healthcare, Education, and/or Commercial market sectors. Requires Professional Engineering (PE) license, and a BSEE or closely related degree; LEED AP certification is a plus.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include: electrical system layout and design; writing/editing specs; review of shop drawings; selecting equipment for electrical power and lighting, fire alarm/communication systems. The position requires flawless accuracy of all technical work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity when communicating with design team and clients. Senior years of tenure will be expected to manage department, projects, and personnel while mentoring junior engineering staff.
