HSE Engineer
Job Duties:
Will include, but not limited to, coverage of all Offshore Project work, HAZOPs; HAZIDs, Yard HSE activities, Project support related to Vessels, Barge HSE/ Sail-out.
Lead and conduct Project Risk Assessments (HAZOPs/HAZIDs)
Develop and review project HSE plans and conduct project HSE assurance activities.
Work with Internal and External customers to ensure compliance with company HSE guidelines, policies and regulations.
Support the Offshore Project Team to ensure that all HSE issues are identified and resolved.
Support the development of HSE audit programs and leads local/field audits.
Support the company's HSE mentoring program.
Support and lead incident investigations, as assigned. Develop Lessens Learn and share results with Sr. Management and the Workforce.
Develop corrective actions to address negative trends and near misses.
Ensure employees conduct job safety assessments on every job and that all personnel understand they are not to take risks and mus refuse unsafe work (Stop Work).
Provide direct coaching to improve safety performance and hazard recognition and remediation, provide feedback to supervisors and managers on all local and field audits.
Minimum Required Experience:
- Must be a degreed Engineer
- 5 plus years involving HAZOPs; HAZID
- Able to communicate in Spanish - oral and written
- 8-10 years offshore work experience
- Must be able to travel 80% of the time
- Must have Project Execution and Installation experience.
