Sr. Manufacturing Engineer – Value Stream Engineer Position Summary:
Determinesthe optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start-up, building the product line, through satisfactory production. This includes analyzing engineering design documents to establish manufacturing methods and processes to manufacture a component, creating conceptual sketches and initiating the design and building of required tooling. Prepares a BOM (bill of material) for procurement of raw material, rivets. bolts, etc., and describes outside vendor services needed for the manufacture of a component (heat treat, anodizing, painting, etc.). Approves outside vendor manufacturing plans and reviews progress to plan.
Sr. Manufacturing Engineer Requirements:

At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience

Aerospace experience highly preferred

Machining, CNC, Welding, Metal Fabrication, NDT manufacturing environment experience may be considered.

Experience with fabrication, assembly and shop math.

Experience with material processes and using and designing tools, fixtures and gauges.
Sr. Manufacturing Value Stream Engineer Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the Current and Future State Value Stream Maps for the Project
