We have the following exciting opportunity with our client:
Our client is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with experience in the full SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle). Some Project Management experience would be needed, and candidates should have a career goal of moving from a Business Analyst role into a Project Management role in the future.
The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst portion of the role include:
- Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
- Define and document requirements
- Analyze and prioritize requirements
- Write functional specifications
- Model the requirements/specifications
- Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams
- Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis
- Manage scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead development of common standards and tools
- Assist in operational rollout and support
Required Skills:
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into detailed functional specifications
• Experience creating detailed functional use cases and functional specifications
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-intensive environment
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to communicate with professionals at any level throughout the organization
• Ability to take initiative and be accountable for results adhering to project objectives and deadlines
