Job Description
Job Description: Analyzes complex data structures to generate useful business insights. Develops reporting to monitor business critical results. Works with internal partners on statistics-related projects. Supports leadership team with data consultation, data gathering, and data analysis. May assist entry-level Data Analysts with scripting and Capital One data structures.
Responsibilities:
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Communicate with business customers to establish data requirements
• Create tools or queries to obtain data from central data repository for the purposes of reporting and analysis
• Present final analysis to customers
• Participate on project teams
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or Business
• 4 years of experience in SQL
• 1 year of experience working with large volume of data
• 1 year of experience reporting with Microsoft Excel and Access
• 1 Year Data analysis Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Science, Business, or Information Technology
• Teradata Certification, SAS Certification, UNIX Certification
• 1 year of experience in Web Analytics, especially with clickstream data
• 1 year of experience with SAS
• 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence tools, such as Business Object
• 4 years of experience in Data analysis
