Our client's team is looking for a software development engineer to drive improvements around the following key areas: Trusted Advisor, Support Engineer Desktop, Voice of the Customer infrastructure, and Internal Support Tool. The Dev Team will heavily leverage various internal technologies in areas such as SOA, machine learning, social media mining, Data warehouse etc.

Developers in this position will use a variety of mainstream and open source technologies like Java, C++, Linux, Javascript, JSON, Oracle, MySQL, as well as in-house technologies.

Required Skills
The technical skills required for this role include 3-5 years of object-oriented design and programming in Java or C++
Experience building scalable applications with focus on application design & optimization, memory/cpu/network usage
3 years experience with web based technologies is essential. These may include HTTP, Javascript, JSON, AJAX, Apache, Tomcat.
Experience working pragmatically under deadlines with operational software is highly desired.
