Responsibilities of the Role:
New product development:
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback from end-users, distributors, OEMs
- Define product requirements for next generation products for tablet and mobile phones. This includes client, web and client applications.
- Deliver new products that are competitive and differentiated with other leading providers;
- Develop metrics and analysis that demonstrate our product offering competes and is being well received in the marketplace
Design and deliver products for partners & OEMs:
- Support internal business development team efforts to win partner deals with sustainable solutions
- Support internal business development team efforts in closing OEM and carrier deals.
- Work with partners to ensure new products meet their needs throughout the partner lifecycle (negotiation, development-integration, launch, reporting)
- Manage the on-time delivery of new products to partners
Other Attributes:
- 4-6 years of software relevant (web or client) product management experience with 2 of those years in the mobile or tablet space
- A proven ability to write detailed product requirement documents to be used by engineering to build the product
- Technical understanding of web and client software development methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Scrum or other Agile development processes
- BA/BS
