POSITION SUMMARY: Plan, organize, and monitor resources (people/equipment/time) to ensure a smooth and consistent department operation that satisfies internal and external customers. Ensure that department resources are optimized by monitoring performance indicators, such as employee time and department production data, identifying problems, and taking appropriate corrective action. Maintain personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish department goals.  Evaluate and recommend internal and external applicants for hire as Regular Associates.  Plan and coordinate work, train and motivate Associates, monitor Associate job performance, and conduct and record formal evaluations and corrective actions.  Ensure Associate ability to perform their jobs in a safe, efficient and effective manner. 




  • Inventory control (cycle count/inventory processes)
  • Parts and product inventory processes (shipping, receiving, put away, picking, kitting, parts distribution to work cells, reconciliation,  reporting)
  • Manage the movement of product into and out of the work cells
  • Responsibility for all daily, weekly and monthly support and reporting activities within the department
  • Meet and exceed all established KPI’s and SLA’s as dictated by the company and the customer
  • Lead and motivate team members to meet or exceed support expectations on daily basis
  • Identify leaders among team members and develop associates for growth opportunities utilizing the Succession Planning Program
  • Managing employee issues, concerns and productivity
  • Recognize employee performance; provide an environment promoting involvement and a method of tracking results
  • Establishing a pattern of continuous improvement and working within accepted quality guidelines to achieve goals
  • Assist in managing department workforce, reinforce company policy and procedure and establish and maintain healthy working relationship across the organization
  • Work in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines
  • Facilitate effective Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis as needed
  • Contribute to the company’s overall strategies and goals
  • Verify and approve employee time/payroll information and authorize overtime
  • Show initiative and make suggestions for improving processes 
  • Communication with customers, vendors and employees
  • Initiate team building exercises to promote growth and company improvement






  • Strong supervisory experience ; 3 - 10 yrs prior experience managing a team of 20 or more associates
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Prior experience working in an electronics wireless repair environment (OEM and repair parts) preferred
  • Familiar with ISO 9001:2000 requirements
  • Prior  shipping/receiving and inventory experience  
  • Prior experience working in a continuous process improvement, fast paced, high volume environment
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and WMS
  • Communicate and plan with peers and managers
  • High degree of English fluency required (written & oral)
  • Must be able to motivate employees
