Data Center Engineer

Position requires the knowledge of how to maintain a data center, including but not limited to documentation management, equipment installation, work with structured cabling systems, maintenance procedures, best practices and troubleshoot cable plant issues with Category 5, 6, Fiber Optic, etc. using test equipment. Responsible for providing shift turnover reports highlighting all work completed during their shift. Work as part of a team in a high availability and mission critical data center environments. Some travel between Chicago and suburban data centers. Must be available for weekend and evening work when applicable due to project deadlines, problems, production hours of operation, etc.. Must be able to lift equipment of 75 lbs or less into enclosures.
