The Distributed Resources Project Manager is responsible for distributed generation projects interconnecting with the Company’s distribution system. Responsibilities include interacting with customer’s and their representatives, developers, state, and federal stakeholders. Other major responsibilities include the coordination of engineering studies, scheduling of resources and monitoring of project costs and meeting or exceeding customer expectations in the successful implementation of projects within mandated regulatory time limits and budgets. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science or Engineering. Minimum of 5 years related experience. Experience: The successful candidate will possess 5 or more years experience in distribution planning and/or distributed generation project management of multiple and complex projects with knowledge in cost estimating, project controls, and customer interface experience. Candidate will be well-grounded in the principles of project management and project economics. Also, the candidate must have the ability to read and interpret project documents and drawings and translate the information contained in those materials into cost estimates, work and organizational breakdown structures. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of electric power system operations, utility regulations and tariffs, guidelines to and management of distributed generation applications and their interconnection to the electric distribution system. |
