Agency Business Development Manager

The company has rolled out a new and unique role to help grow their footprint and reach within the exciting and ever changing Agency ecosystem.   This role will allow you to be on the cutting edge of this rapidly growing industry and offers a fabulous opportunity to leverage your own existing, and new, relationships within the agency world. As the marketing and advertising world continues to become more data-centric, you will be able to provide best in class data, insights and solutions to Agencies who are in need of this actionable information more than ever. The Agency Business Development Manager is tasked with introducing and evangelizing the company’s data solutions to potential Agency Partners.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Help build and execute a business strategy to grow the Agency vertical strategy
  • Develop and grow collaborative relationships within major Agency accounts
  • Evangelize, manage and promote the Agency strategy within the company
  • Foster a collaborative environment internally, while working with both the New Business and Client Relationship Teams
  • Work directly with the Director of Agency Relationships to determine strategy and expansion plans
  • Develop customized solutions with individual agencies to offer meaningful partnerships
  • Work closely with the Product Development team to inform new deliverables and custom project strategies
 
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years track record of success as a consultative salesperson with Agency experience
  •  Demonstrated ability to consistently meet / exceed sales targets
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings with large groups and/or high-level executives
  • Proven experience  in needs analysis, positioning, and closing
  • Experienced prospector with a diligent work ethic
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented writing skills with excellent follow-up practices
  • Flexible, adaptable team player who will “go the extra mile”
  • Familiarity with online marketing processes and research teams within the Agency Vertical  

 

Salary flexible $110K - $120K.  On Target Earnings $200K - $225K
