East Coast Inside Sales Contractor
Will be responsible for delivering/exceeding an annual advertising sales quota. She/he will work to secure advertising commitments from a Client account list, their respective advertising agencies and all incoming leads. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of digital media experience, excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills. She/he will have ability to translate client needs into advertising solutions and structure advertising partnerships. She/he will also have experience in building media plans, working with ad operations to get media campaigns live and servicing client programs post-sale. The candidate must have good time management skills because she/he is responsible for all aspects of pre and post sale.
This is a full time contractor position in our New York office. Candidate is responsible for territory east of the Mississippi.
-Answering and screening all incoming leads (over phone and email),
-Proactively prospecting for new business
-Creating and executing sales plan for Client account list
-Building of media plans and checking for inventory availability
-Procuring of assets and working with ad operations to launch accounts
-Managing client relationships post-sale
-Working cross-functionally with various teams such as ad operations, client reporting, and client marketing
-Manage RFP process and develop sales presentations for client meetings
-Some travel required
-A Bachelor’s degree is required with 1-2 years digital media experience
-Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and great attention to detail
-Good interpersonal communications skills, comfortable on the phone and in-person
--Good knowledge and understanding of various advertising pricing structures (CPA, CPM, Sponsorship)
-Excellent PC skills are required, including experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
A successful inside sales representative is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, articulate, optimistic and works easily with a variety of personalities and styles.
