Business Analyst

 Location: Toronto, GTA area

Job Duties:

 Our client is a large, well known CPG company and they are looking for a savvy business analyst to join their team!

PLEASE NOTE! This is not an IT role; those who have an IT background will not be contacted.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

     Collecting, preparing and analyzing weekly retails sales, consumersales and profitability results to determine impact on account

     Identify market trends by item and category for consumer for both new and existing items; licensed items retail price, ad and media 

     Once observed trends, identify required actions and make solid recommendations to stakeholders

     Analyst customers sales information where available to identify sales opportunity

     Work with Customer Development Directors and Managers to align the forecast plan for the customer (retail budget internal reports)

     Monthly assessments with Demand Planning submissions to ensure customer forecasts are accurate and in line 

     Evaluate and analyze actual forecast performance against objectives/plans

     Track and analyze account advertising pans and results to determine impact

     Produce POS sales Retail Sales and consumer sales reports on a weekly basis

     Assist in presentations of new item creation reports for sales team

     Enter and update internal system to ensure program forecasts are captured

Skill Requirements:

     A University Degree in Business Administration or related area of study.

     A minimum of 1-2 years of business analyst or related experience a MUST

     Experience with children’s products an asset. 

     Sales support and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is preferred

     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     Organized and detail focused

     Strong analytical skills
