A worldwide full service digital marketing agency is hiring for a Mid to senior level PHP developer to join their core engineering team in their NYC office. This company is a forward thinking and brand focused agency founded in 2001. 

If you are an experience developer who is comfortable with full life cycle development including writing and gathering specifications, choosing the right CMS technologies and suggesting solutions for technical architecture, than this role is for you. 

the ideal candidate will be able to mentor other developers within the programming team as well as oversee development standards and practices in the office.

Requirements:
- experience building framework based websites
- proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and other LAMP stack technologies
- experience using MVC frameworks (codeigniter, Send, CakePHP, etc)
- experience using CMS (Drupal), e-commerce technologies (shopping carts)
- Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, git, etc)
- knowledge of bespoke
- understanding of how to customize client experience
- ability to communicate clearly and collaboratively with management and clients
- must be solutions oriented and work independently within a fast paced environment

Pluses:
- Experience using expression engine, htmls5, Jquery, Ajax
- experience leading a development team
