We are pleased to offer you this new and exciting contract requirement with our client for the position of:

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

PROJECT:
-Estimated Start: ASAP
-Estimated length: 3 years
-Location: Fredericton NB

REQUIREMENTS

-must have at least five (5) years of experience working with Systems Development methodologies.
-must have an undergraduate university degree in Computer Science or related discipline or certification in Information Technology from a recognized community college. An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.
-, the resource must have a minimum of eight (8) years experience as a SBA on a System Development, Legacy Modernization or COTS implementation project.
-must have experience leading application design and requirements gathering sessions
-must have experience doing workflow analysis
-should have experience developing data models, data flow diagrams, process models and use case models.
-should have experience with the “Gap Analysis” process used to identify new or changed business requirements.
-Experience on legacy modernization projects would be considered an asset.
-Experience with Financial Information Systems would be considered an asset
-Experience with COBOL and hierarchical databases would be considered an asset
-should have experience writing and executing system test cases and documenting test results.
-should have a demonstrated capability of managing a team of specialists, business analysts and programmers on information technology development projects
-should have experience in specific project execution activities, including issue/risk management, change control, implementation and transition.
-should have experience estimating effort needed to complete project tasks
-should have experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, MS-Project and Excel).
-should have experience with web and windows based applications and have an understanding of .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio technology.
-Written and spoken competency in English is required. Written and spoken competency in French would be considered an asset
