Build awesome software in a team of skilled engineers using innovative new technology. Roll up your sleeves and “get dirty” coding, architecting and system design. Work closely with the Product team to create and deploy features for the marketplace software built using Python and the Django framework. Help architect both front-end Javascript-based web applications as well as data models and back-end functionality. Build scalable web applications, influence decisions, and problem solve.
•Python and Django or equivalent web application language and framework
•MySQL, and Linux (Ubuntu), Apache, WSGI, Git
•JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, HTML
•Amazon Cloud Services including the deployment of distributed applications
•SOLR w/ Lucene via Haystack for Django integrated application search
•Memcached for server process coordination and User interface speed
•RabbitMQ & Celery for Django for a queuing system architecture
•High-availability software and deployment architecture and implementation
•Data Analysis, dynamics and social network analysis is a plus
