Description
PDS is seeking a Software Developer for an open position in Troy, MI.
Manages the information systems design, development, and analysis encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise: computer programming, systems analysis, computer programming/analysis, applications programming, systems analysis/programming, software development, systems integration, and related disciplines. This position is for a beginner to intermediate level programmer with ASP.NET and SQL Server experience. The job duties include, but are not limited to: Programming new systems and enhancements to existing systems. Code and unit testing to specifications in business documents. Support quality assurance testing; compliance with software development team best practices. Provide other programming and technology assignments as needed. Requires strong development and troubleshooting skills, highly motivated and independent performer. Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of experience developing applications in ASP.NET using C#. Minimum of 1 year of experience using SQL Server (2005 or 2008). Minimum of 1 year of experience of programming with SQL. Desired Skills: Experience working in a team environment. Proficient in task management for on schedule deliver. Proficient using Visual Studio and Visual Source Safe. 1 year of experience developing applications in Classic ASP. 1 year of experience developing applications in VB 6. Additional Job Requirements: Required Education is minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Engineering. Click here to apply:
