Mechanical Superintendent (Early Works)

Job purpose & Scope:
Monitor the assigned scope to ensure Early Works Contractor and sub-contractors perform the work to agreed schedules and to an acceptable standard.
Manage the EW contractor and sub-contractor personnel ensuring safety, quality and schedule are adhered to.
Ensure assigned Personnel and Contractors are familiar with, and follow the project HSE requirements.
Ensure assigned scope of work is carried out without any significant HSE incidents
SITE BASED - some office based activity
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering;·
Minimum of 10 years
of relevant experience in oil and gas industry with comprehensive hands-on experience in Construction.

Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards.
·
Good HSE awareness and commitment
·
Good written and verbal communication skills.
·
Good technical team and interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop
solutions to complex problems.
·
Experience with supervising contractors, in the construction of major oil and gas facilities.
HND/HNC acceptable with relevant experience.
