Assistant Director of Human Resources (closed)
Prestigious healthcare organization in New York City seeks an Assistant Director of Human Resources.
Responsible for developing, implementing and managing all human resource and compliance functions relating to the organization and its employees, to ensure that all federal and state employment laws and regulations are compiled with and to keep senior management apprised of trends and issues which may affection the operations of the organization. Manage the organization’s human resources functions through the design, implementation and communication of policies and procedures. Recruit, hire and orient exempt and non-exempt staff. Assist in the conduct of performance evaluations and salary administration. Handle all employee relations matters. Administer the organization’s employee benefits. Supervise payroll administration.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of eight years’ experience as an Assistant Director of Manager of Human Resources in a generalist capacity
- Incumbent should have sound knowledge of human resource management, employment law, training, strong recruiting, budgeting and computer skills
- Strong leadership abilities, a high energy level and strong organizational, communication and platform skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Eight years’ experience in a generalist capacity in a medical facility
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- SPHR
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
