Federal Senior Account Executive - SAP NS2 software & support services sales
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
You will be responsible for the sale of the complete range of Sybase, e-Business infrastructure and integration software products and services to account sets within one of the following areas: Civilian, Defense, or Intel agencies. Territory will include installed base clients as well as new client development.
Closing business to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
Creating, enhancing, and managing business relationships to foster business opportunities.
Proactively and creatively understanding client needs and identifying solutions to requirements; actively creating business opportunities in conjunction with partner
Strong usage of CRM and forecasting tools to within 95%+ accuracy on an on-going basis
Working with Sybase sales and support organizations including Marketing, Pre-sales and
Professional Services to ensure full and timely revenue recognition.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Serving as primary client liaison within designated territory;
Managing and growing installed base and new client relationships;
Creating, enhancing, and managing business relationships to leverage additional opportunities;
Identifying business opportunities and mapping appropriate solutions to client requirements;
Driving opportunities in conjunction with partners and support team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant area of study
Strong usage of metrics and ability to accurately forecast on an on-going basis;
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills;
Exude confidence and leadership in the execution of the job function;
5-7 years of demonstrated history as an individual contributor selling enterprise software solutions to senior level decision makers within specified Federal agencies;
Consistent and verifiable overachievement of quota, with demonstrated success of multi year quota achievement within the same company;
Demonstrated ability to articulate software enterprise solutions;
Outstanding relationship-building skills coupled with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity;
Candidate should have a track record of growing multi-year customer relationships through installed base and new business opportunities;
