The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Conduct SharePoint 2007 to 2010 Migrations
- Conduct SharePoint 2007, and 2010 multi-server installation, configuration, and central administration
- Participate in Tier III on call rotation (24x7)
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring for global tiered support personnel
- Work with business users to educate and help administer SharePoint solutions
- Provide Tier III support
- Document processes for end user FAQ’s
- Provide SharePoint project requirements and analysis
- Work with clients to prototype solutions
- Design and construction of SharePoint solutions
- Support operations for SharePoint sites in the production environment
- Plan and develop portal technologies within the clients' environments
- Monitor portal usage including access, load and usability issues on a daily basis
- Plan and implement of disaster recovery strategies
- Train clients technical staff and user communities
- Maintain and support the corporate web server and software tools
- Implement policies, procedures, and standards
- Participate SharePoint related projects
- Provide scripting to support SharePoint initiatives
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4 years of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and 2010; Windows SharePoint Services 2007 and 2010 expertise
- 2 years of experience working with business process owners to identify technology solutions that meet the needs of the client
- 2 years of developing disaster recovery plans for highly available environments
- 6 months of 2010 SharePoint exposure
- Ability to serve clients with all site administration
- Experience with InfoPath form development
- Experience with heavy workflow design and development
- Solid experience with Central Administration (search, Excel services, business data catalog, back-up, etc.)
- Solid SharePoint front end experience
- Solid documentation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in full software life-cycle
- Experience working in project teams of five or more people
- Possess an understanding in the areas of application architecture, database and system design
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms and Office applications (including Visio & Project)
- Proficient with TCP/IP and IT related applications such as WINS, DNS and TELNET
- Excellent research skills
- Client training Skills
- Experience with Quest WebParts and Nintex Workflow training and support
- Knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, NT (Applications and Utilities)
- General Understanding of SAN technology
- General Understanding of MS SQL
- General Understanding of MS Exchange
- General Understanding of Networking technology
- General Understanding of Information Architecture and Taxonomy Strategies
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2010
- Knowledge of Project Server 2010
