Senior Systems Engineer

Then look no further as my client is looking for a Systems Engineers with extensive skills in either/or Citrix, VMware servers, Exchange servers, Windows servers and SAN Storage. 

My client provides managed and hosted IT services. Users range from 50 - 500 users. 

Not only are they experts in infrastructure solutions including server and desktop virtualisation, they are also a major partners with Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Citrix, HP, IBM and many more 

As a Systems Engineer part of the client service team you will be expected to:

* Liaise with the Client Services Director, supporting the team's portfolio of clients

*Visit client sites to provide technical support, upgrades, installs, troubleshoots, Design, Deployment and Implementation.

* Fault diagnosis, problem solve, customer service and relationship management

* Provide pre & post sales support to external and internal staff

* Assist the project management team in the provision of information or services to deliver high quality projects to clients;

* Participate in client meetings, site surveys and audits to establish 'best practise' methodology to fulfil customer requirements

You must also have field experience working on customer sites to be considered for this Systems Engineer role.

THE SALARY/BENEFITS
£C45k + £5k car allowance and 17.5% bonus plus standard benefits

THE CANDIDATE
As a Systems Engineer for my client on a daily basis you will be expected to provide 1st/2nd & 3rd line support to both internal users and external clients. Installs, Configurations, Migrations, Troubleshoots, Upgrades, Design, Deployment of both software & hardware will include the following technologies:

Microsoft:
Install/Configure/Manage/Troubleshoot/Design/Deploy Windows Servers 2003 2008, Active Directory 2003 2008, Exchange 2007 2010, SQL Server

Hypervisor:
Install/Configure/Manage/Troubleshoot/Design/Deploy VMware & Hyper-V and Citrix.

Storage:
SAN experience Install/Configure/Manage/Troubleshoot/Design/Deploy EqualLogic, NetApp, EMC, HP LeftHand, HP EVA/MSA

Networking:
Install/Configure/Manage/Troubleshoot/Design/Deploy HP Proliant servers & Blades, Dell, Juniper, Cisco

Server hardware:
Install/Configure/Manage/Troubleshoot/Design/Deploy, HP Proliant servers & Blades, Dell, Citrix

Any of the below certifications will be a major advantage.
MCSE, MCSA, VCP, CCA, CCNA, HP ASE, HP MASE,
