Title:  Safety Manager

Location:  Mclean, VA

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Safety/Environmental:

•Develop, implement and maintain a safe and healthy workplace in
compliance with all required Federal, state and local Environmental, Safety and
Health (ESH) regulations. Establish and maintain an Occupational Safety and
Health Program

•Maintain an Annual Safety Report

•Maintain a Hazardous Material Inventory

•Maintain an Environmental Safety and Health Plan

•Maintain Recycling and Affirmative Procurement Report

Training:

•Determine the training needs of all functional areas and oversee
the development of courses to meet those needs

•Work closely with onsite procurement and external vendors to set up
contractual and sustainable training arrangements

•Conduct training courses on an as needed basis

•Manage onsite training records for the DIESEL contract, maintaining compliance
with both government and corporate requirements

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field desired

EXPERIENCE: 

•Security Clearance; Agency experience preferred

•Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information handled

•Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Lotus Notes, etc.)

•Motivated self-starter and team player with strong administrative, communication and customer service skills

SECURITY:  Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active TS/SCI w/FS Poly security clearance
