Senior Business Analyst Greeks Profit and Loss (closed)
Our direct client, a major corporate and Investment Bank Consultancy firm is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a long-term consulting engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop operational reporting to monitor existing controls within Middle Office, Product Control and Finance.
You will be responsible for the Analysis of profit and loss reporting for an Investment Banking T-1 Customer as well as trending and analysis over a given time period. Also knowledge and experience of INTEX structured fixed-income cashflow models and related analytical software.
Develop automated and controlled reporting processes.
Participate in re-engineering of current workflows with high focus on reporting and data model development utilizing Visual Basic, SQL, and/or other database or reporting technologies.
Experience and Skills Required:
Building reports in various platforms that may include Excel, MS Access.
Experience of P&L Explain and Intex structured fixed-income cashflow models and related analytical software
Understand the Capital Markets trading environment and face-off with Front Office personnel.
Understand market drivers that may cause large profits/losses and research those drivers if they are unknown.
Understand Risk/PnL with Credit derivative and cash products and explain major risks.
Developing new controls and processes and improving existing ones.
Analyzing datasets and being able to come to a conclusion about what is in the dataset.
