A Fortune 100 company is seeking experienced and smart software engineers for a long term contract (6 months to one year, as a beginning contract duration). This is one of the core groups in the company investing into some key advanced engineering projects. Specific expertise in the following domains is highly desired:

-> Low level processor programming and understanding of x86 and/or PPC architectures

-> Advanced expertise in networking and network-related software development at the protocol level. Experience with developing various networking protocols is highly desired

-> System software level experience with kernel internals, device drivers etc. Experience with open source operating systems like Linux is highly desired

-> System Modelling experience in C, C++ using open source frameworks like qemu and other similar frameworks.

-> Knowledge of virtualization architecture and deploying/configuring nested virtualization with virtio on qemu/KVM is a big plus

-> Operating system device driver experience in networking layer is a big plus

The ideal candidate should have good team-working skills, and proven track record in above domains. There are multiple openings at various levels for the above requirements. At this point, we are not open to sponsoring H1B or other visas. Candidates should have working status in USA and should be able to work in San Jose. Relocation assistance can be negotiated for the right candidate.
